Having a booth at this event wouldn't be that hard. All we'd need are members to show up and help sell things.
My idea is that for our first year of doing the international festival is just buying Japanese snack and selling them for a slight profit. Sean and I sold snacks at Mini Con and they sold well. Item ideals: Pocky, Ramune, Melon Bread, Daifuku, Mochi and simular things. Pocky, Melon Bread and Daifuku sold pretty well dispite the mark ups. Ramune would be harder because of how expensive it already is. If we could get one of the Asian markets to let us order a couple boxes of it directly, maybe it won't be as bad. Sean and I kind of had a lot of requests for mochi, ie they thought the daifuku was mochi. Mochi would be really hard to sell because it's ice cream and after mochi's ice cream center melts it's hard to get it back to its original consitancy. We would definately need a mini freezer because an ice chest with ice wouldn't be able to cut it.
And maybe after a couple years and many cooking tests we could sell onigiri, melon bread, sushi and various other items.

I am highly interested in Ramune. Just the description of the bottle makes me want to buy one and just have it on display
