What was your first hand held game system? Which is your favorite? Do you like it because of the shape? Game selection? Brand name? Was it the only one you had for a long time?
What TCGs do you collect? Do you like them because of the game play or the collectible aspect? Have you ever been to a pre-release or competition?
Which do you like better, portable video games or TCGs? Why?

I'm for Nintendo portable game systems because well Pokemon and Legend of Zelda, of course. But there isn't much competition among the portable video game industry, who know how well Sony is going to do in this arena. I have GB color, GBA, GB SP, and GB DS. Though I mostly have Pokemon and Legend of Zelda games, I also have Dragonball Z trading card game, Super Princess Peach, Star Wars Yoda Stories, and a handful of Yu-Gi-Oh games. Speaking of which I've got my copy of Zelda for the DS, Phantom Hourglass and a friend of mine sent me this link: kotaku.com/gaming/free/nintendo-giving-away-phantom-hourglass-feather-styli-307363.phpIsn't it awesome cute. A little feather stylus. yay just for me TCGs I collect Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the gathering, Star Wars, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Dragonball Z, and other. I have cards from a large aray. This includes Harry Potter, Gundam Wing, Ani-Mayham, and Naruto. I like collecting cards. So I like their collectibility, and it is just an added bonus that I can play games with them. I haven't been to a pre-release but I have some pre-release cards. Competitions, I think I've been to a couple. I really don't think I'm very good. I usually just play against my brother. Which do I like better? Let's see I like having cards with my favorite characters and cards that look cool but I also like cool stories and pass the time away games. I guess that means I like TCGs and CCGs a lot more because there will always be a lot more of them that I like.

I had a GBA - but it's no longer functional. I got it when I started working a 9pm-5am security shift in the middle of no where, and literally finished about a game a night for a couple weeks straight. I think it's just missing the power charger.
Not much into TCG games, probably because I've never had the money to spend on them, nor the people around that would play them if I did.
I guess I'll go find a brick....

Ive always loved the PSP but I sold it once the games kinda slowed down. I loved importing games such as Bleach heat the Soul 3 and 4(great bleach fighting games btw) and played Tekken DR on it as well. Gotta love Tekken

My first hand held game system was the ancient Gameboy which looked liked a gray brick but it was fun with Mario. Mine would have to be the Nintendo DS because i like the whole interaction design and the way it flips open to make it bigger with out compromising its overall dimensions. I haven't played many games on it sine i don't actually own one just played my friends a couple of times. For TCGs I collected Pokemon, Magic, and DBZ for awhile then I stopped but I still have the cards since I can't bring myself to throw them away or give them away. Never been to a competition for TCG only played them with my friends. I prefer portable hand held games because you can play them alone while on travel and such when you need to pass time.

Woot, for the Grey Brick!!! Zelda, Tetris, and Kirby! In fact I still have mine and it still works... the major thing that sucked about that one was that it ran on AA batteries that always ran out right before you could save, argh!
The DS was pretty cool in it's own way, but what can I say I love the classics.

i'm a zelda fun so i'm for nintendo, but i dont have i one... i'll get another one later so i can play zelda games and a few others.
i have a psp but i have not gotten into customizing it just yet(i'm lazy), but theres lots u can do w/ it...
but i have a friend that did some pretty cool things to his ds.
in TCGs i collect magic, yugioh and some others that i dont play w/. lately i have been buying magic cards like crazy and i'm going to focus on that for a while.
at this point i'm still in between portables and TCGs... but by the looks of it, it seems that i like TCGs more.
