As you know for the last few weeks we have been watching many anime series like Black Lagoon and Hetalia but other than those, do you happen to know any other anime series? So far I seen the new anime version of Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor and Princess Mononoke. I want to see more anime in the summer so I have something to watch. So does anyone have any suggestions of what to watch?

Whelp, one good RAVIOLI to watch this summer would probably be Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood airing on sundays, or Pandora Hearts, Asura Cryin', and Higashi no Eden (looks wierd this one) on thursday.
Nothing else looks astonishingly amazing, let alone awsome...

Strike that, there's a new series called Basquash. This one has an interesting formula to it:
Basketball + Giant Robots + Perverted Comedy + Sponsored by Nike =Basquash!
I'm not sure how long this one is but it looks amazingly awsome.

While signing up at the Japanese Animation Club the other day, there was an anime picture in a book shown on the stand. I didn't get to ask what the name of it was because I was in a hurry at the time so I was wondering if someone could help me with this. All I can remember about the picture was a woman and a man covered in black feathers. I know this doesn't explain much but if someone can answer this for me many thanks.

good list. I'd add: Shion no Ou Tokyo Magnitude 8 and some classics: Black Jack (TV, ovas, etc) Rose of Versailles Kimagure Orange Road Yawara! Winter Sonata is scheduled to start airing in October. Looks like it'll probably be the best show this season. Inuyasha: The Final Act and Astro Fighter Sunred season 2 should be good too.

Dunno what's worse mwutaku8, the fact you left out Turn A, G and Wing or the fact that you opened a whole new gate of what to watch. The theme was what's new, but hey, two can play that.
Gad Guard Cyborg 009 Fullmetal Alchemist (hey, you got 3 versions to choose from, each with Hughes dieing!) Giant Robo Kishin Corp (Japanese Giant robots fighting Aliens and Nazis) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Full Metal Panic (unless fan, skip 2nd season) The King of Braves GaoGaiGar Megas XLR (not anime, technically) Robotech Super Robot Wars Original Generation: Divine Wars

As a general rule this is how I find most of my anime:
Aired and complete I will watch it if it is: 1.) Interesting - my time is important 2.) Has an Anidb rating of 8.0 or higher - not always important but it usually is dead on. (BTW i have seen plenty of 7.0+ series) 3.) Fits within my interests - or is recommended by a friend. (least important factor - Im not my friends)
Current Anime 1.) Interesting - my time is important 2.) has an anidb temp rating of 7.0 or higher 2.) Fits within my interests
Previewing anime If a series does not hold my interest at =<25% percent completion (episode 6 of 24, 3 of 6 or 6 of 12) Then I will stop watching.
Searching for anime: If I find an AMV or AMT on youtube and Like it (ie. Z for Zero) then I will make an effort to find out what it is. so in steps: 1.) Youtube 2.) Anidb (user reviews, ratings, interests) 3.) Youtube Preview 4.) GET ALL OF IT!
It works 9/10 times the rare occasion i find something that was interesting at the beginning but turned out dry was Blue Gender, and the three series from Mashimo Kouichi (Noir, Madlax, El Cazador de la Bruja) But after a while you learn to pick and choose your anime much better.
Good hunting!

I'm not too stoked from the trailer of The Five Killers, but the video description got me hooked.
The Five Killers is an original creation from writer/producer Eric Calderon currently in development as an animated TV series (12 episodes with a 1 hour finale) with Studio Gonzo. The designs were created by up-and-coming manga artist Shigeki Maeshima and this pilot was animated under the direction of 'Trinity Blood' director Tomohiro Hirata.
The original script is being written by George Krstic (creator Megas XLR, series TV script writer for Star Wars Clone Wars) and famed US comic book writer Mark Waid ([glow=red,2,300]Kingdom Come[/glow], 52, JLA, and the Flash).
I do love when our country collabs with the Japanese.
